- Replace "usb rc" File Stock to Port Folder [Example: init.scxxxx.usb.rc, init.usb.rc]
- Repack Boot.img and rename it image-new.img to boot.img

Do I have to replace files from stock system to port system or do I have to leave it like that and only port the boot.img?

DeleteFirst I tried to use the method above it didn't work so I extracted the system.new.dat then replaced EGL & Modules folder and then replaced some libxxx.so files (camera,sensor,gles,egl etc.) then replaced stock to port boot.img. Then I repacked it after that replaced it with the system.new.dat system.patch.dat file context that was in the zip. I didn't use the patch 1 and 2 this time then I flashed it with Gapps and it booted up but it gets stuck everytime on "Android Is Starting

I wiped the cache and dalvik cache and booted up again still its stuck in that screen.

DeleteHi, that for "split-img" I can not understand at all such file in boot.img is not present!
ReplyDeleteExtract Rom Zip File And Go to Kernel Folder Under & You Can get kernel.img that's it. kernel.img and boot.img is same just developer rename it boot.img to kernel.img. Important Note : if you use your porting guide then rename kernel.img to boot.img
